Clippers get final approval for new stadium

The Clippers' Inglewood Basketball & Entertainment Center received final approval from the city of Inglewood to have a campus that will include an 18,000-seat basketball arena, team practice facility and corporate offices.

ANALYSIS: The Los Angeles Clippers finally have a plan to leave Staples Center, a court they share with the Los Angeles Lakers. The stadium is expected to make its debut in the 2024-2025 season, with construction getting started in 2021. The Clippers have been playing at Staples Center since 1999.
