Spurs, Derrick White agree to 4-year, $73 million extension

San Antonio Spurs guard Derrick White has agreed to a four-year, $73M extension, his agent Mike Lindeman of @excelsm_bball tells ESPN.

Spurs and White gets a deal done before the 6 PM deadline. White is another one of the franchise's great development stories, the 29th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft becoming one of the team's future cornerstones.

ANALYSIS: The Spurs got a deal done with Dejounte Murray last October, and now they've extended another significant portion of their budding young backcourt in White. These two are going to be leaned on now and down the road as elite defenders and aggressors on the offensive end, getting their teammates involved as well in the process.
