NBA to expand league's active player list for games to 15?

NBA’s Competition Committee registered strong support today for increasing league’s active player list for games from 13 to 15. Board of Governors must give final approval to a move that makes sense given shortened season and concerns over Covid impact on rosters.

ANALYSIS: As we are seeing with the NFL, a positive COVID-19 test could keep a player out of the lineup for multiple weeks. So, expanding the league’s active player list from 13 to 15 would give teams much more flexibility in filling their roster for games if a player or multiple players test positive for COVID-19.
