Stephen Curry reaches 250 made threes for seventh time in career

Though Stephen Curry's sensational 47-point game on Saturday evening resulted in a defeat, he added another accomplishment to his laundry list of them this season.

The Golden State Warriors superstar and two-time MVP is the first player in the NBA to 250 made threes this season, well ahead of Sacramento Kings sharpshooter Buddy Hield (222) and Damian Lillard (212) -- the only other players in the vicinity of Curry's tally-- which spiked last night with an absurd 11 triples.

It is the seventh time in Curry's career that he has drilled 250 shots or more from distance in a single season.

This stretch has been unearthly from Curry, as he's knocked down at least 10 threes in three of the last four contests, and he has now achieved that feat 20 times in his career.

Curry has scored at least 30 points in 10 straight games. The Warriors are 6-4 in that stretch, and have won three of their last four contests.
