NBA announces 2022 All-Star Game reserves

The NBA announced tonight the list of reserves for the 2022 All-Star Game in Cleveland.

In the Eastern Conference, the reserves are:

  • Jimmy Butler (Heat)
  • Zach LaVine (Bulls)
  • Fred VanVleet (Raptors)
  • Jayson Tatum (Celtics)
  • James Harden (Nets)
  • Darius Garland (Cavaliers)
  • Khris Middleton (Bucks)

VanVleet and Garland will both be making their first All-Star Game appearances. 

In the West, the All-Star reserves are:

  • Chris Paul (Suns)
  • Devin Booker (Suns)
  • Donovan Mitchell (Jazz)
  • Rudy Gobert (Jazz)
  • Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves)
  • Luka Doncic (Mavericks)
  • Draymond Green Warriors)

Green will not be competing in the All-Star game due to injuries. Commissioner Adam Silver will announce a replacement for Green. The Warriors lead all teams with three All-Star players, as Green joins starters Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins.
