ANALYSIS: Adams was part of the St. Bonaventure's team that cracked the NCAA Tournament in 2017-18, and has since spent two years between the NBA and NBA G League. Adams was initially signed to a two-way contract by the Atlanta Hawks in 2018-19.

Last year, the guard excelled in the G League with Milwaukee affiliate Wisconsin Herd. He averaged 20.9 points, 5.2 assists and 4.9 rebounds per contest and demonstrated capable scoring ability at all three levels.
