ANALYSIS: Denver's made a wave of moves to restructure its frontcourt. Hartenstein wasn't on the floor much for the Houston Rockets, so the team is gambling on the third-year big man to fill a backup role behind Nikola Jokic.

Obviously, we've seen the unique element Bol Bol brings to the court with his unmatched length and ability to stride and shoot the basketball, so seeing his contract converted into a regular contract on the Nuggets' roster isn't a surprise.

Bates-Diop will hit the waiver wire as a sparingly-used swingman with versatility, a player who could potentially latch on with a team lacking in that department.
