ANALYSIS: Interestingly, Wojnarowski added that "D’Antoni is expected to pursue head coaching jobs again in the future," and was a candidate for the Trail Blazers job that ultimately went to Chauncey Billups. D'Antoni spent one season as an assistant with the Nets, helping them go 48-24 and finish second in the Eastern Conference.
