Michael Beasley signing with Shanghai Sharks

Michael Beasley is returning to professional basketball and will sign a seven-figure deal with the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Beasley was the second pick of the 2008 NBA Draft and has played 11 seasons during his NBA career. He last played in the league during the 2018-19 season with the Los Angeles Lakers and appeared in 26 games, averaging 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. 

After three season away from playing professional basketball, the 33-year-old Beasley is returning to the game but across the world in China
