Lakers agree to deals with Wayne Ellington, Trevor Ariza, Dwight Howard

ANALYSIS: All three players are former Lakers, although they joined the franchise at different times. The journeyman Ariza played for Los Angeles in the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons. Ellington spent a season with the Lakers in 2014-15. He shot 42.2% from downtown with the Pistons this past season.

Howard won the Lakers' most recent NBA title in 2020 and spent last season with the Philadelphia 76ers.
