Kevin Durant seen wearing boot after injuring ankle in pregame slip

Kevin Durant's first home game as a member of the Phoenix Suns will have to wait.

While Durant was supposed to make his home debut at Footprint Center tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he was ruled out after slipping during pregame warm-ups and injuring his left ankle.

After the game, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reported that Durant was wearing a boot. Further testing will determine how long Durant will be sidelined.

Durant has appeared in three games with the Suns since being traded to the team, averaging 26.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.3 blocks, while shooting 69.0% from the field, 53.8% from three-point range and 88.2% from the free-throw line.

The Suns have yet to lose a game with Durant in their lineup. Phoenix is currently 37-29, which is the fourth-best record in the Western Conference.
