Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Nuggets agree to two-year contract extension

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has agreed on a two-year, $30M extension with the Denver Nuggets, according to Adrian Wojnaroski of ESPN.

Woj added that the deal includes a player option in the second year.

ANALYSIS: This is one of those times where we should be grateful that a useful rotation player is being utilized on a good team that needs his skillset. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will be Nikola Jokic's shiny new toy next season. Coupling his championship experience with his dead-eye three-point accuracy - 39 percent from distance last season - and one could make the case that trading for and extending him was among this offseason's most underrated moves.
