Kemba Walker, Pistons reaching buyout

Four-time All-Star guard Kemba Walker and the Detroit Pistons are finalizing a contract buyout, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Walker was just traded to the Pistons by the Knicks who have been clearing cap space in their pursuit of free agent Jalen Brunson. He is owed $9.2M by Detroit this coming season.

He now becomes a free agent and is eligible to make $3M on a minimum contract since he has 10+ years of service time.
