John Wall plans to sign with Clippers after he clears waivers

John Wall is planning to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers once he clears waivers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

ANALYSIS: Wall hasn't set foot on an NBA court since April of 2021. During the 2020-21 season, Wall played 40 games and averaged 20.6 points and 6.9 assists for the Houston Rockets.

Even though no one is sure what to expect from Wall since it's been a while since he last played, it's hard not to be excited about his fit with the Clippers. The one thing that the Clippers have needed is a ball-handler to complement Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Reggie Jackson has been fine, but Wall could be the upgrade the Clippers have needed. Wall could be that final piece that Los Angeles has needed.
