James Harden mum on possibility of Nets adding Blake Griffin

The Brooklyn Nets have already added one perennial All-Star to their roster this season when they made the move to acquire James Harden in a trade from Houston. Now, they may be the leaders to add a former All-Star to the mix in Blake Griffin.

Griffin was bought out by the Detroit Pistons this past week, and is set to become an unrestricted free agent on Sunday evening. The Athletic has reported that the Nets are the leading contender to make the signing of Griffin.

On Sunday at All-Star media availability, Harden was asked about the possibility of the Nets adding Griffin, but he remained mostly silent on the subject.

This season in Detroit, Griffin was a shell of his former self. He played in 20 games with the Pistons prior to his buyout, averaging 12.3 points per game with 5.2 rebounds.
