Isaiah Hartenstein declines player option with Cavaliers

Cavaliers center Isaiah Hartenstein has declined his $1.8 million player option for 2021-22 season and will become a free agent, sources tell The Athletic.

ANALYSIS: Hartenstein was dealt from Denver to Cleveland at the 2021 trade deadline, and averaged 8.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in 16 contests with the Cavs. The 2017 second round pick played his first two seasons with the Houston Rockets.
