Cavs' Jarrett Allen to forego surgery, could be back by playoffs

After deliberating Cleveland Cavaliers star Jarrett Allen has elected not to have surgery on his fractured finger and there’s optimism he could return before playoffs, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

ANALYSIS: Obviously, Allen should be commended for toughing it out for the sake of his team's likely playoff run. However, the one thing he has to keep in mind is that he puts himself at risk of making the injury worse. This season, Allen has averaged 16.1 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 32.2 minutes per game.
