Hawks president Travis Schlenk moving to senior advisory role

After six years, Atlanta Hawks President of Basketball Operations Travis Schlenk is moving into a senior advisory role reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. GM Landry Fields will oversee basketball operations.

Wojnarowski adds that Schlenk has multiple years left on his contract, and will remain in the organization working with owner Tony Ressler. Fields was promoted to GM in June and will step up and take on a larger role now. 

A formal announcement is expected on Wednesday.
