ANALYSIS: With conflicting reports on whether the teams would talk at all or consider a deal, it appears the two are in talks now.

There is reportedly motivation on both sides to get a deal done with Harden seemingly unhappy in Brooklyn and Simmons still unwilling to play in Philadelphia.
