Grizzlies' Dillon Brooks fined $35,000 for shoving camera person

Memphis Grizzlies wing Dillon Brooks has been fined $35,000 for the unsportsmanlike act of shoving a camera person on the sideline after pursuing a loose ball, it was announced today by NBA executive vice president and head of basketball operations Joe Dumars.

Brooks’ actions occurred with 2:40 remaining in the second quarter of the Grizzlies’ 138-119 loss to the Miami Heat on March 15 at Miami-Dade Arena. You can watch the incident below:

This season, Brooks is averaging 14.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 threes, while shooting 38.7% from the field, 31.3% from three-point range and 78.6% from the free-throw line.

The Grizzlies are currently 41-27, which is the third-best record in the Western Conference.

Recently, Memphis has been without superstar point guard Ja Morant, who was suspended by the NBA for eight games for "conduct detrimental to the league."
