Duke has best odds to land potential 2025 No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg

High-school basketball phenom Cooper Flagg recently made headlines when he announced that he reclassified from the 2025 class to the 2024 class.

He's now the odds-on favorite to go No. 1 overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. But before he sets his sights on the NBA, where will he play next season?

BetOnline has released odds on Flagg's next team, with the Duke Blue Devils emerging as the heavy favorites to land the 6-foot-8 forward. Can the G League Ignite or another college program steal him away from the Duke? Here are the complete odds:

NEXT TEAM ODDS
Duke Blue Devils -300
G League Ignite +275
Michigan State Spartans +900
UCLA Bruins +1100
Connecticut Huskies +1200
Any overseas team in Europe +3300

Flagg has received offers from many schools, including Albany, Bryant, UConn, Duke, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Maine, Michigan, Providence, Texas, UCF, UCLA, Villanova and West Virginia. He received his first offer (from Bryant) when he was still in middle school.

While he has plenty of offers, it's worth noting that he has only visited one school: Duke. The Blue Devils are considered the heavy favorites to land Flagg's services.

If Flagg does commit to Duke, he would have a chance to become the latest Blue Devil to be selected No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft, joining Paolo Banchero, Zion Williamson, Kyrie Irving, Elton Brand and Art Heyman.

Flagg is the top-ranked prospect in 247Sports' prospect rankings for the class of 2024. The experts at 247Sports are also predicting that he will choose Duke.

Flagg is from Newport, ME, but he is currently attending Montverde Academy in Florida.

In 2022, he was named USA Basketball's Male Athlete of the Year, becoming the youngest player to ever win the award after thriving on Team USA's Men's U17 National Team. He was also named Maine's Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year for the 2021-22 season.
