Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox is the latest player today and throughout the month of December to enter the NBA's COVID-19 protocols. Over the last two weeks, 50 players have been placed into health and safety protocols.

ANALYSIS: The Kings have been unable to find a winning formula this season, but Fox has been the lone constant. Fox is averaging 21.3 points, 5.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game during the 2021-22 campaign.

Sacramento had internal concerns of a potential outbreak throughout the team, so more Kings-related news could be coming very soon. In the meantime, Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell will step into bigger roles in Sacramento's backcourt alleviating the loss of Fox.
