Damian Lillard, Giannis Antetokounmpo named NBA's Players of the Week

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA's Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 16 of the 2022-23 season (Jan. 30 to Feb. 5).

Lillard averaged 38.3 points, 6.8 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game, while leading the Blazers to a 3-1 week (with wins over the Memphis Grizzlies, Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards).

Antetokounmpo averaged a ridiculous 41.0 points, 17.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists, while leading the Bucks to a 3-0 week (with wins over the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers and Charlotte Hornets). 

The other nominees for the Player of the Week award were Mikal Bridges (PHX), Anthony Davis (LAL), Nikola Jokić (DEN), Jamal Murray (DEN), Kawhi Leonard (LAC), Joel Embiid (PHI), Markelle Fultz (ORL), Darius Garland (CLE), Dejounte Murray (ATL) and Cam Thomas (BKN).
