Bulls nearing deal to sign Patrick Beverley

It appears Patrick Beverley will be joining the Eastern Conference playoff race!

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bulls are nearing a deal to sign Patrick Beverley, with the deal expected to be finalized on Tuesday, though the Bulls will have to waive someone to make room for him.

Beverley was traded to the Magic at the NBA Trade Deadline for Mo Bamba then was shortly released by the Magic. By joining the Bulls, Beverley is now going back to his home roots in Chicago.

This season, Beverley is averaging 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists while shooting 40.2 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from three.

What remains is who will get cut to make room for Beverley. One possible option could be Goran Dragic seeing how the two play the same position, but that's mere speculation.
