Auburn's Bruce Pearl suspended two games as part of NCAA probe fallout

The NCAA has suspended Auburn men's basketball head coach Bruce Pearl two games, saying he "failed to promote an atmosphere of compliance."

This punishment comes as a result of the fallout from a investigation into Pearl's September 2017 charges of accepting bribes from an advisor who was part of the government. Pearl will immediately serve his suspension and miss games against Nebraska and North Alabama.

Auburn will also be fined $5000 plus 3% of their program budget and lose two scholarship spots. The Tigers did not receive any sort of postseason ban. The program will be on probation through 2025.
