Anthony Davis will miss at least four weeks with an MCL sprain

The Los Angeles Lakers announced on Saturday that star big man Anthony Davis will be at least the next four weeks with an MCL sprain.

Davis was injured on Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves when Jaden McDaniels fell into his knee, causing it to awkwardly buckle inward. Davis had to be helped to the locker room by the Lakers' training staff after collapsing in the tunnel.

Los Angeles has struggled to find any sort of consistency this season, and now it will get even tougher without their second-best player. The workload on LeBron James' shoulders will increase, plus pressure will rise for Russell Westbrook as well.
