Andre Iguodala fined $25K for cursing at ref, tossing ball in stands

Golden State Warriors wing Andre Iguodala has been fined $25,000 for throwing the game ball into the stands and directing inappropriate language toward game officials, NBA executive vice president and head of basketball operations Joe Dumars announced today.

Iguodala tossed the ball into the stands with 4:30 remaining in the fourth quarter of Golden State’s 125-113 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 10 at Chase Center. He was assessed a technical foul and ejected. Here's video of Iguodala tossing the ball into the crowd:

Once Iguodala was ejected, he became frustrated and got into it with the official, which can be seen here:

This season, the 38-year-old has appeared in just two games, averaging 12.5 minutes per contest. He has averaged 1.0 point, 2.0 assists and 1.5 rebounds in his limited action.

Iguodala is mainly on the Warriors to serve as a veteran leader. The former All-Star is a four-time NBA champion, and he won the NBA Finals MVP award in 2015.

This is Iguodala's 19th NBA season (and his eighth with the Warriors).
