2023 NBA All-Star starters named for Salt Lake City

Before Thursday night's action, the NBA officially named the 10 players who will be starting in the 2023 All-Star Game on Feb. 19 in Salt Lake City.

Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks), LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers), Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans) and Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) will represent the Western Conference starters.

Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets), Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers), Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics), Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (Milwaukee Bucks) will represent the Eastern Conference starters.

Team LeBron and Team Giannis will select from that list to put their respective teams together on All-Star Sunday right before the game takes place in Utah.

Fans accounted for 50% of the vote to determine the starters, while current NBA players and a media panel accounted for 25% each.

The 2023 NBA All-Star reserves will be announced on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. ET. Seven reserves will be named in each conference: two guards, three frontcourt players and two additional players at any position.
