Draymond Green and LeBron James have recently gone viral after being spotted together. The pair of NBA stars has spent some time this summer playing golf, and they even had comedian Kevin Hart tag along.

Due to the hilarity of their animated moment in that video, Green has decided to provide even more context about what they were discussing on the latest episode of his podcast.

"When I walked up, Kevin said, 'what'd you shoot, a 123?'" Green shared. "And I said, '123? No I didn't shoot a 123.'"

Green then returned the question, asking Hart what he shot, to which Hart replied, "119."

According to Green, the comedian was simply trying to figure out if anyone shot worse than him that day. As it turns out, though, no one else took more strokes than Hart that day.

This led Green to clown him on his podcast, jokingly declaring that "Kevin stinks" for shooting a 119.

Every LeBron move this summer has sparked free‑agency speculation. Every word and every action, no matter how small, has seemingly been taken as a hint for what his next career move might be.

Some fans felt that the golf outings were a sign James is warming to the Warriors. But Green’s explanation shows the viral moment was nothing more than friends joking about golf.

Further proof that Green wasn't just hanging out with James to sway his free agency was the presence of Hart. Hart is one of the most well-known supporters of the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers, famously, are one of the other frontrunners to win the James sweepstakes.

If either Green or Hart wanted to recruit James, having someone from a rival team in proximity is one of the least ideal times to do so.

LeBron James Caused a Stir by Uttering a Phrase Associated With the 76ers

"Trust the process." These three words were enough to cause a momentary frenzy among fans being addressed by LeBron James.

James was talking about what he looked for in a franchise as he considers his next career move. He said he wanted to be part of one that shared his values.

"That's like practicing championship habits every day, but trusting the process more than anything," James said during the Fanatics Fest 2026. This prompted a collective verbal reaction from the fans in attendance, but James quickly shot it down.

He explained that he had been saying "trust the process" long before center Joel Embiid was even drafted by the Sixers, making it clear that it was not alluding to his next career move.

Those same three words became associated with the Sixers after they were used as a mantra by former team general manager Sam Hinkie. Later, Embiid would adopt 'The Process' as his own nickname.

However, "trust the process" has been a saying long before Hinkie ever took the Sixers' GM job.

Despite James shutting down the fans immediately at Fanatics Fest, though, the Sixers remain as one of the leading teams in the race for the 41-year-old star.
