Following an impressive performance last summer at the FIBA World U19 Championships in Latvia, Khalifa Diop has continued to improve, and he now has a much bigger role with the Gran Canaria team this season. His game is very simple, but effective, and it should translate well to the NBA level. Diop runs the court hard, and he is an athletic finisher at the rim. In addition, he is working on expanding his shooting range now. On the defensive end, Diop has shown the ability to guard different-sized players, and he has the potential to develop into a nice energy big off the bench for an NBA team.
