Caitlin Clark breaks NCAA women’s basketball all-time scoring record
Iowa Hawkeyes superstar guard Caitlin Clark made history on Thursday night as she became the all-time leading scorer in NCAA women’s basketball history.
Clark broke the scoring record in the first quarter of Iowa's game against Michigan, surpassing former Washington Huskies great Kelsey Plum. In typical Clark fashion, the record-breaking shot was a booming triple from the logo, which the crowd in Iowa loved.

The 6-foot guard now has 3,528 points and counting. Plum, a WNBA superstar now with the Las Vegas Aces, previously held the record with 3,527 points. She tweeted her support for Clark, saying: "Congratulations on the record, and really your entire season! I appreciate what you do for the game, much respect and love! See you at the next level, hopefully sooner than later 😜🤞🏼"

With the season far from over, Clark now has a chance to break the NCAA's all-time scoring record (men’s or women’s). LSU legend "Pistol" Pete Maravich currently holds the record with 3,667 points.
