Brunson, Randle lead Knicks past Wizards, NY moves to 4-0 with Anunoby

Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle each scored 30-plus points as the New York Knicks pummelled the Washington Wizards, 121-105, on Saturday night to earn their fourth-straight win since acquiring OG Anunoby.

Brunson (33 points) and Randle (39 points) led an upstart Knicks squad, who were coming off an impressive 36-point win in Philadelphia last night. New York led from start to finish against a lethargic Wizards squad, improving to 21-15 on the season.

Anunoby has reinforced the gritty Knicks with his solid on- and off-ball defense, while adding another dimension to their offense with his three-point shooting and cutting.

This allows the main cogs Brunson and Randle to have more space on offense, resulting in high-scoring outputs like in this game.

Isaiah Hartenstein hauled in 19 rebounds for the Knicks, and he's been instrumental since Mitchell Robinson was deemed out for the season due to injury.

New York now takes sole possession of the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference following the Indiana Pacers' loss to the Boston Celtics.

The Wizards, led by Kyle Kuzma’s 27 points, dropped to an abysmal 6-29 (which ranks 14th in the East).
